300 Blackout Is One Of The Popular Rounds To Be Used With A Suppressor.

It is a dual-purpose intermediate-sized cartridge as it can be fired in both subsonic and supersonic loads it is this reason it has gained quite a lot of popularity in the last few years. It is one of the most popular rounds to be used with a suppressor. Although it is relatively new but has proved itself as a hunting, defensive and target round in a short time since its arrival. Those who are looking for Cheap Ammo  they can get it cheap by buying it in bulk.

Background Of 300 BLACK AMMO

It has its roots in 300 whispers, Advanced Armament Corporation showed interest in 300 whispers and worked on it and decided to make a new design inspired by a whisper. AAC was eventually bought out by Remington and two companies worked on a new design which could address the shortcomings of 5.56 NATO rounds. The basic change in the design was made by using trimmed and expanded 5.56 NATO brass as opposed to 221 Fireball or Remington as the parent case.

The new and improved design meant that it could work with a standard AR15 or M16 bolt. 300blackouts and the original 300 whisper cartridge are very much interchangeable. As the popularity of 300 Blackout ammo increased it has become less expensive which again increased its popularity as many people want cheap ammo and for them, it is a great opportunity as they can get this powerful cartridge relatively cheap.

Performance

It very much resembles a 7.62*39mm round in its standard form as a subsonic round. US military was looking for a replacement for 5.56 NATO and the main reason was the loss of energy and velocity by the 5.56 NATO when fired through shorter barrels. 5.56 NATO was not originally designed to be fired through shorter barrels but soldiers needed shorter barrels as suppressors mounted on full-sized rifles made them unwieldy. 300 blackout was optimized to be fired through shorter barrels as well as in supersonic loadings and it met the expectations of the military people for both subsonic and supersonic variations. Apart from the military, it is widely used on the civilian front as well and it has proven itself in hunting as well as competitive shooting circuits as well.

Comparisions

Whenever a new cartridge arrives it is compared to older ones and it is no different in the case of 300 blackouts. Hunters and shooters get a rough idea as far as performance is concerned through comparisons.

Shooting With Suppressor

It makes for an excellent suppressor host, with subsonic loads one can shoot through a suppressor rated for 45ACP or 9MM and if one chooses to shoot supersonic round suppressed, a silencer rated for 308 Winchester will handle both supersonic and subsonic loads. 300 Blackout Ammo Subsonic is one of the quietest rounds to suppress especially when fired through a closed breech firearm like bolt action or single shot rifle. 300 blackout ammo has a very mild and pleasant sound when fired through most suppressors rated for 308 Winchester.
